Come
Worship With Us
If you have never visited us or if you are a newcomer to the Atlanta
metropolitan area, we extend a cordial invitation to you to come
and worship with us. If
you are searching for people whose sincere desire is to be nondenominational,
to wear no other name than Christ's, and wish to be known simply
as Christians, we think you will feel at home with us. (Acts
11:26, 1Peter 4:16, 1
Corinthians1:10-13.)
Upon seeing our meeting place,
you will notice we put little emphasis on luxurious surroundings.
Our meeting place is comfortable but intentionally unpretentious.
We emphasize meeting man’s spiritual needs as opposed to placing
emphasis on expensive or elaborate physical facilities. (1
Peter 2:5; 1 Timothy 3:15)
Our only desire is to serve God in the way He desires (Proverbs
14:12, 3:5).
It is our conviction people become
Christians when the word of God is planted in the hearts of
honest people who respond in obedient faith (Rom
1:5; 16:26; 1
Peter 1:23-25). This is what happened in the first century.
We are convinced what was produced then, can and will be produced
today.
We are governed in faith and conduct
by the Bible alone. We accept the Bible as being verbally inspired
by God and revealed by His Holy Spirit and therefore infallible
in content (I Peter 1:20-21;
1 Corinthians 2:11-13).
Consequently, when the Bible speaks on any given subject, its
pronouncement is considered final (II
Timothy 3:16-17, Galatians 1:6-10).
We are open to Bible study. As
humans we can be subject to error. When shown where we are wrong
by the Scriptures -- we are willing and anxious to change. “Come
and let us reason together” (Isaiah 1:18;
Acts 17:11).

brought him to Antioch. And for an entire year they met with
the church and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples
were first called Christians in Antioch.

Corinthians 1.10-13
10 Now I exhort you, brethren,
by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and
that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete
in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For I have been informed concerning
you, my brethren, by Chloe's people, that there are quarrels
among you.
12 Now I mean this, that each one
of you is saying, "I am of Paul," and "I of Apollos,"
and "I of Cephas," and "I of Christ."
13 Has Christ been divided? Paul
was not crucified for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the
name of Paul?

Peter 1.23-25
23 for you have been born again
not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through
the living and enduring word of God.
24 For, "ALL FLESH IS LIKE
GRASS, AND ALL ITS GLORY LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS. THE GRASS
WITHERS, AND THE FLOWER FALLS OFF,
25 BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES
FOREVER." And this is the word which was preached to you.

Peter 1.20-21
20 But know this first of all,
that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation,
21 for no prophecy was ever made
by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke
from God.

Corinthians 2.11-13
11 For who among men knows the
thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him?
Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of
God.
12 Now we have received, not the
spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that
we may know the things freely given to us by God,
13 which things we also speak,
not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by
the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

Galatians
1.6-10
6 I am amazed that you are so quickly
deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different
gospel;
7which is really not another; only
there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the
gospel of Christ.
8 But even if we, or an angel from
heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have
preached to you, he is to be accursed!
9 As we have said before, so I
say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary
to what you received, he is to be accursed!
10 For am I now seeking the favor
of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were
still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of
Christ.

these things were so.
